I don’t think we talk about the possibilities of gallery walls enough!

If you had to choose one of these styles, which would it be? Even if gallery walls aren’t something you’d have in your own home, I’m curious which one catches your eye the most. It’s hard for us to even pick a favorite!

Thinking beyond framed pictures

We didn’t know half of these were even possibilities, but I love every single one of them for different reasons.

For the longest time, I pictured gallery walls as a collection of framed pictures. The more inspiration I’ve seen, the more I’ve realized they can be so much more. Sometimes all it takes is thinking outside the box about the kinds of pieces you can hang on your walls. Sometimes we can even be hesitant to hang something in the first place because it feels like a big commitment.

These aren’t our photos, but I loved how each one takes a completely different approach. Ornate frames, needlepoints and crewel, copper molds, framed doilies, mini artwork, trinket shelves, cutting boards, vintage paint brushes, potholders and so much more. There are endless ways to create a gallery wall that feels personal and tells your story.
