A Little Inspiration
Let’s talk flower frogs!🌼
Discover glass, metal and ceramic flower frogs, with 38 inspiration photos showing flower arrangements, collections and creative everyday displays.
Before we started selling on Whatnot, we had only ever seen glass flower frogs. We had no idea there were so many different kinds!
Little pieces with plenty of personality
We’ve sold tons of flower frogs in our Whatnot shows, and they’re always one of those pieces people love learning about. They’re also really easy to walk right by if you don’t know what they are.
Flower frogs can be made of glass, metal or ceramic, and they come in all kinds of shapes, sizes and designs. Some metal flower frogs are especially sought after, and we can’t get enough of the ones with that gorgeous aged green patina.
Originally, flower frogs were made to hold individual flower stems in place while arranging fresh flowers. They sit inside a vase, bowl or planter, helping you position each stem exactly where you want it. Pretty clever for something that’s been around for so many years!
Once we learned what flower frogs were, we started spotting them everywhere. We hope you will too!
These aren’t our photos, but we thought it’d be fun to show you some of the different types of flower frogs along with a few of the many ways people enjoy them today.

So many ways to enjoy flower frogs
They’re still wonderful for flower arranging, but people also use them to display photos, postcards and recipe cards, organize pens, create seasonal displays and, of course, collect them. They’re one of those vintage pieces that can work with just about any decorating style and in so many different spaces throughout your home.
