House Trinkets #1

Meet Ashley’s striped pants girl, a tiny ceramic vase bringing big joy to a colorful corner of House of Coop.

Tiny ceramic girl with striped pants and a red hat beside turquoise floral canisters

I find a lot of joy in the little things. Literally. So I thought it would be fun to start showing you some of the little trinkets that live around House of Coop.

Meet my striped pants girl

First up is my striped pants girl. She’s a tiny ceramic vase with a red hat, blue shoes, and those wonderful black-and-white striped pants.

She lives by my morning chair next to one of my canister sets, so we hang out every morning. The canisters are big, bright, and covered in flowers. She’s little, a bit unexpected, and right at home beside them.

She makes absolutely no sense there, which is exactly why she makes perfect sense to me.

A little thing to love

That’s the fun of the things we choose to live with. Sometimes a tiny piece brings a little joy to a familiar corner, just by being there. My striped pants girl does that for me every morning.

This is the first of our House Trinkets, a closer look at the little pieces that make House of Coop feel like us. There’s plenty of joy to be found in the small stuff.
